Thanks for sharing insights into life in Tanzania. It makes our government red tape and hoop-jumping mild by comparison. Book bags and well-stocked Kindles are a must when attempting any transactions here as well. God is good. For many government is the overt antagonist or even the persecutor, for us it is merely a source of occasional frustration. Blessings!

Blog Introduction

  • Karibu sana! We are the Eads family (Dan, Jana, Grace, Silas, Moriah, and Chloe) in Mwanza, Tanzania. We are working with Grace Baptist Mission. Sent by Parkers Lake Baptist Church in Plymouth, Minnesota, we moved here in fall of 2008. Dan is ministering in church-planting and leadership training. We live next to Tumaini Children's home, another ministry of Grace Baptist Mission. Through this blog, we hope to keep many friends, family, and supporters informed about our everyday lives here.
