Earlier this month we had the thrill of hosting my parents, Al and Kay Hawkins. It was their first time visiting us at our home here in Tanzania. There is nothing like grandparents....the love that they bring to our home, the wisdom and simple insights that they have as experienced parents, the grace and compassion they give, the fun things they do with the kids, etc. The only hard thing about having family come visit is having to say goodbye.
We have missed Grandma Kay and Grandpa Al since they left us a few weeks ago but are so thankful for the memories we made with them while they were here!
