Friday evening, Holly and I said goodbye to Ferdinand and his wife, Happyness. They left to visit his family and will not be back before we leave on Monday. Ferdinand is the co-director of Tumaini Children's Home and both he and his wife dedicate a lot of time and energy to the ministry there. Ferdinand was the first person Dan introduced us to after arriving here in Shadi and he graciously welcomed us to the ministry team. In the past weeks, this couple has been an encouragement to me as I watched them interact with the children and perform their duties. They have been such a blessing and I will miss them greatly.
