This is Jana.

Since we arrived home last Tuesday, Dan has been back to work at full-force preparing for September's Bible Institute sessions and catching up on work/administration-type things from the last 3-4 weeks that we were in Nairobi. 

We have enjoyed occasionally having neighbors and friends stop by to meet the newest family member. Grace and Silas are loving their new baby sister!

Headed Home

We have been able to secure a birth certificate and passport for Moriah, so this morning (19 July) at 5:00 AM, we will be starting the long drive back to Mwanza. Please pray for safety on the roads, patience for parents, and a smooth border crossing.

Moriah Hope Eads

‎7 pounds 9.5 ounces and 19.25 inches

Born a little before 5 a.m. today, July 7th.

 

We are in Nairobi...and Waiting

We made an 11-hour drive up to Nairobi on the 22nd of June to come up a week and a half early of Jana's due date and wait for the arrival of our little one. While we have been up here, we have been able to run errands, do doctor's appointments, and I have been writing notes for the pastoral theology class that I'll teach in September. If nothing happens early this week, we plan to induce on Friday evening. We're very thankful to be near a good hospital, that Jana and the baby are healthy, and that God has provided a place for us to stay here in Nairobi.
