On 5 May, we received a new guest named Sterling Pfenning. Sterling is a 20 year-old man who hales from Southern Minnesota, not to far away from where I grew up. We met his family in 2008 while we were at Faith Baptist Church in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He is doing an internship with me and is going to be with us until the end of June. Right now, he is on the second day of a four-day trip to Nyakaliro, staying with Pastor Elias’ family. He is doing great with working on Swahili, and he has already made himself useful in many ways with his propensity for handyman projects.
Kudos to a fellow Africa intern. You should have Sterling do a blog post : ) Hope he had a blast in Nyakaliro.
