I was in the market the other day, when I saw nearly everyone reading a pamphet. A closer look showed that the pamphet is entitled, “Day of Judgment, 21 May 2011; End of the World, 21 October 2011.” So, Harold Camping’s Bible Arithmetic has made its way over here too. It is sad to see false teaching like this and the fallout that it causes when the predicted day comes and goes, leaving confusion and doubt in its wake. It often ocassions further false teaching as people try to explain why things did not happen as predicted.
“But concerning that day or hour, no one knows . . .” Mark 13:32.
